Sony HDR-FX7 fisheye?
i was wondering if there Century Optics has made a Mark2 lens that will fit the HDR-FX7 without a step up/down ring. I believe the FX7 has 62mm filter threads. Is this the same number i use to check compatibility with lenses? can someone confirm the size lens i need for the camcorder? The main reason why i ask for a lens without the use of a ring is because i believe this can lead to a significant amount of vignetting. please correct me if i wrong.

You need to remove the lens hood to take advantage of the filter screw-mount threads. Refer to page 17.
Another (better) option for you is to use a bayonet-mount add-on lens...
Step adapters can cause vignetting - so can using a tele-lens that is zoomed in...
Search "hdr-fx7 lens" or "hvr-v1u lens" at bhphotovideo to see what the bayonet-mount options are rather than screw-mount.
